Social services' needs and conditions incorporating a new way of working for labor market inclusion – to create a collaborative arena for the exchange of experience.
The project aims to create collaborative arenas for the exchange of experience around a way of working with labor market inclusion called Beskæftigelses Indikator Projektet (BIP).
From April 2024 to March 2026, we will conduct interactive research together with a number of municipalities in Västernorrland and Östergötland with their associated coordination associations, as well as researchers at Linköping University. The research is financed by Forte through collaboration grants within the call for applied welfare research.
BIP contains measures and tools to support people in the labour market based on theories of self-confidence, symbolic interactionism, and the importance of professional trust in the individual. The goal is that researchers and employees within AME and coordination associations can explore more specific critical research questions and needs-oriented questions about BIP that will form the basis of a future project application. A further aim is to map and understand AME's conditions and motives for working with BIP in the Swedish welfare system. The goal is to make visible what expectations there are for BIP, both within AME and coordination associations, and whether the approach to BIP changes during the two years.
