On 23-25 September, Mid Sweden University will host Polar Law Symposium 2024. We are looking forward seeing you in Östersund!
Each year the Polar Law Symposium brings a great number of renowned scholars, post-doctoral and doctoral researchers from all across the world to share research-based scientific knowledge on diverse polar relevant issues.
This year Mid Sweden University will host the conference and welcome you all to the city of Östersund - located in the middle of Sweden with the mountains and the lake Storsjön just around the corner.
The conference starts with a Welcome Reception in the open air museum of Jamtli on the evening September 23 followed by a full conference programme September 24-25.
The two themes this year are "Implementation of international minority- and indigenous law at national levels" and "Governance, resources, security, and jurisdictional issues in the circumpolar area". You can read more about them below.
The abstract submission starts March 7 and is open until April 20. Please submit your abstract in the link below.
